THREE ways to get a copy of your NHS Covid-19 PCR report …
If you have have received a positive result from the NHS, we can only verify your result in one of three ways:
- Download a pdf copy of your positive result from the NHS App (please note this is not the same as the NHS Covid-19 App)
- A PDF copy of your email notification from the NHS (“NHS COVID-19 Notification”)
- Your NHS GP may be able to give you a copy of your official laboratory PCR test result.
1. Using the NHS App
If you have the NHS App to hand, the here’s how to locate your test report:
2. Email copy of NHS COVID-19 Notification
Your email notification from the NHS can be used as evidence of your positive test result. To upload your email notification, you will need to either create a PDF of the email or take a screenshot.
3. Contact your NHS GP
Your NHS GP may be able to provide you with a copy of your official laboratory PCR test result.
The best way to contact your NHS GP practice is usually by using their online system. Most GPs have an online form, which you can use to submit a request. The best approach is to ask the practice to email to SMS a PDF of your report as an attachment. Sometimes they may be happy to leave a paper copy for you at reception.
Please note that it can take NHS GP surgeries a few days to process such requests and not all will be able offer this service.
